Not A Band-Aid®

April 20, 2004

Well, I've spent several hours over the last day and a half getting my Archives working properly and updating all of the individual entries to reflect some of the new things on my stylesheet.

Now all I have left is to get my comment page styled as well as get my Photos page up and running.

I need to get these things done as soon as possible, because I know if I don't it is bound to either A) not happen for months or B) never happen (which is the more likely of the two). Because I've spent a lot of time thinking about this site, I've added a lot of features and styles that I have wanted for awhile, but never got around to. Actually, now that I think about it, every design I've had up 'til now has been a Band-Aid® to hold me over 'til I get time to work on a design.

But no more.

This is a design that I like, using sufficient styles to keep me happy for awhile. In fact, this will be the default style and when I finish some of the other styles I've been working on or have in mind, I'll add a "style-switcher," which will be cool.

Anyway, "look ma, no Band-Aids®! I'm healed!"

Nice job Neil. I really need to change my blog. I have a design created and half of it coded, but it's just so damn hard when you're working on one project all day and others at night. Pathetic, I know. My latest idea has been in the works since February. Maybe by next Feb. I'll actually have it up and running.... :-)

Well, thank you very much Jill. I agree, you should customize your site a bit more. Make it a little more, you, ya know?
